Trent West, the undisputed pioneer and inventor of tungsten carbide rings, has perfected a new high tech system that molecularly bonds 95% Platinum-Ruthenium (The most wear and corrosion resistant alloy in the platinum family of metals) to the textured tungsten carbide surface of the ring.

Our new TrewTungsten^® TTXP textured tungsten carbide ring is superior because it protects against discoloration from skin acids and chlorine exposure over time that will occur on any rough, non-polished tungsten carbide surface.

Please note: Our superior Micro-Diamond polished surfaces are already corrosion resistant, it is only when the surface is broken by rough grinding that there can be a discoloration effect.

The reason for the unmatched surface durability is that we super heat the textured tungsten band in an Electron Beam Vacuum Chamber and then apply a molten platinum alloy in a Physical Vapor Deposition process (PVD). Our exclusive Platinum PVD technique is a superior molecular bonding process that will protect and seal the rough textured surface of the band. This exclusive process has nothing to do with the common electroplating process, and is superior in every way.
